All STICKERCASE products fully comply with all applicable laws and regulations. In Europe, this particularly refers to European regulations on product safety (2001/95/EC) and the minimisation or elimination of chemical use (REACH). This is often why top-brand manufacturers choose us—to ensure everything is done right. It’s always rewarding to earn and maintain that trust.

B-Corp

We are proud to be a B Corp certified company. Achieving B Corp certification means joining an exclusive global community of businesses that believe in making a positive impact on the world and the people who live in it.

What makes a B Corp certification unique is its holistic approach. B Corp doesn’t just evaluate one aspect of a business but considers the entire organisation—from its impact across the supply chain to the benefits provided to employees. A B Corp status demonstrates that a company excels in multiple areas. In short, a B Corp does business for good.

Our B Corp certification confirms that we meet exceptionally high standards in social, economic, and environmental sustainability. It’s a recognition that we are on the right path to minimising our ecological footprint while maximising our positive contribution to people’s lives around the world. More importantly, it serves as a motivation and reminder to keep improving every day.

BSCI

In 1977, a handful of companies founded the Foreign Trade Association (FTA) in Brussels, aiming to represent the foreign trade interests of European retailers, brands, and importers at European and international institutions.

In the two decades following its founding, there was growing pressure from consumers, NGOs, and other stakeholders for companies to take social responsibility in the production and sale of products. For example, how can consumers and companies know that the goods they buy come from businesses that respect workers in their supply chains? These questions led to the launch of the Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) in 2003.

BSCI is a voluntary (though not non-committal) system aimed at improving working conditions in supplying factories worldwide. STICKERCASE, as part of SUITSUIT International BV, has been a member of amfori BSCI (www.amfori.org) for many years, using this system to implement continuous improvements within our organisation and among our suppliers.

The BSCI system comprises a code of conduct and an auditing process. All production and assembly factories we work with must endorse the BSCI code of conduct and cooperate with any audits conducted by accredited audit firms on our behalf. During these audits, it is verified whether supply chain partners have implemented the code of conduct in their business operations.

REACH

REACH stands for Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation, and Restriction of Chemicals. It’s a European law that regulates which chemicals can and cannot be used in the production of goods, such as suitcases.

Every company that markets products in the EU must comply with REACH regulations.

Unfortunately, some suppliers still do not take this legislation seriously, often cutting corners to save on the investment required, both in money and attention. This compromises product quality and can have serious consequences for both the buyer and the recipient of the product. Always ask for proof that a product complies with REACH regulations—it can save you a lot of trouble.

All STICKERCASE products fully comply with current REACH regulations.
